Holiday in North Devon
A film showing a family holiday and domestic scenes in Crawley. The first part shows the children paddling in the North Devon sea, playing on the rocks and building sandcastles. The second part shows the family playing in a playground and attending a Harvest Festival event at Three Bridges Free Church. The children help to rake fallen leaves in a garden, celebrating (a birthday or Christmas ?) with presents and on an outing to the countryside.
Old Collegians Versus Lyons CC
The film opens with the message: "In this match the O.C.s mustered rather more supporters than runs". The film shows only the spectators for this unseen cricket match; watching the game from deckchairs on the sidelines. The onlookers include men with pipes, women smiling and chatting and children playing or eating ice-cream.
[Sussex Scouting Camp]
This colour film opens with wide landscape views of a small Scout campsite in the Sussex countryside (?). The boys undertake camp chores that include washing dishes, preparing food, hauling wood for camp fires and building wooden structures to be used around camp. Upon returning from a walk, several older boys sit together on camp, with other adults. The group play a game of Rounders (?) formed of Boy Scout verses adult teams.
A short Scouting film shows a large troop awaiting the results from a hiking and camp contest. The winners are presented with a large ceramic jug [?]. This is followed by a montage of portrait shots of the winning groups.

The 1st Haywards Heath Scouts board a coach in Haywards Heath with their kit, This is followed by shots of the exterior of 'The Broadway' theatre as the coach passes by. On arrival, the Scouts build a camp, and drink tea with friends and family. The final scene shows a hike across the South Downs.

The film also shows a boat trip on the River Dart passing Dartmouth Castle, an ISALDA gathering in a marquee and a visit to Crabbet Park House [?]. The film closes with scenes of a wedding at a large parish church.
