Amateur film-maker Captain William Armstrong films images of Seville as he travels along its streets in a horse and carriage. There is also brief footage of a religious procession wherein an effigy of Christ on the cross is carried aloft through the urban streets, as well of an open-air market.

On the second, almost five years later, Voss travels from Madrid to Burgos, stopping at Aranda de Duero, Estella and Pamplona. He returns to Madrid via the Guadarrama mountains, and visits Roman monuments at Mérida.

The second part shows the family playing in a playground and attending a Harvest Festival event at Three Bridges Free Church. The children help to rake fallen leaves in a garden, celebrating (a birthday or Christmas ?) with presents and on an outing to the countryside.
