The Headmaster of Mile Oak Approved Boys School films his pupils building sand sculptures on the beach at Walton-on-the-Naze. The boys enjoy the amusements on the pier, including dodgems and a rollerskating rink, and swim in the sea. The film-maker also films his young grandchild as a baby, and later as a toddler exploring the grounds at the Martello campsite.

A seaside publicity film advertising the attractions of the Kent resort of Margate. Narrated by Kenneth Macleod, the film promotes the seaside facilities and suggests a variety excursions that can be taken from there.
Lodge Hill Residential Education Centre
This amateur film is set at Lodge Hill Residential Education Centre at Watersfield, West Sussex. The film shows a visit to the centre made by a group of young people who are seen exploring the centre and its grounds. The film captures their mealtimes as well as an evening disco. On separate occasions the young people are visited by an elderly couple and a church minister who talk with them.
This film shows the Burns family boating on a river, followed by a series of sporting events that includes a group of girls playing a game of Netball in an enclosed court (?) and two woman trampolining in front of a gathered crowd (?). The film closes with the children riding a merry-go-round and miniature train ride (at a Butlin's Resort), inter cut with wider shots of the rest of the fairground.
