Cinque Ports of Britain
This amateur film made by a member of the Independent Association of Cinematographers captures everyday scenes from Cinque Port towns in Kent and East Sussex. Folkestone, Hythe, Dover and Rye are all featured, as well as footage from Canterbury, including the cathedral. The film also includes footage of a journey made on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.

The group stop for a comfort break in a rural heath land location, to drink alcohol and play a game of short cricket, before continuing on their journey through a busy town. The group later board a ferry on a river or canal watching the scenery and other water traffic. [This may be part of the trip to Windsor via Maidenhead on 6399 & 6403?]
Gosports Goings On

This film shows a family visit to Gosport, with scenes of the seaside, a Hovercraft, a visit to Foster Gardens, a panoramic view of the Camper and Nicholsons shipyard from the top of a building (?), and the Naval Shipyard. The group visit the Portsmouth War Memorial, and the rides on Southsea seafront. Returning to Gosport for the Carnival parade with floats. The film ends with scenes at Portsmouth Harbour from aboard a ferry.

Journey Home Stage Three: Cape Town to London
The final part of of the Puttock family travelogue aboard the cruise liner "The City of Port Elizabeth". This part shows the family visiting friends in Cape Town before leaving for Tilbury Docks through the bulge of Africa via Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands, and on to Dover. Shots show the family exploring a beach and harbour in Las Palmas, several ships in dock and at sea in the Mediterranean, eating food and playing games on ship. The ship enters Tilbury via the Thames Estuary passing the Maunsell Fort.
