[Holidays to the West Country and Scotland]
An amateur film-maker films family holidays to the South West and Scotland. The holidaymakers tour the coastline and villages in the West County, stopping at Stonehenge on their way home in the South East of England. They visit the east coast of Scotland in the following year, stopping at Dundee and St Andrews before travelling into the Highlands.
Daily Express Air Pageant at Gatwick
This film opens with footage of aerobatics demonstrations, including one by the American champion, Betty Skelton, before flyovers by two new aeroplanes, the Candair Argonaut and the Boeing Stratocruiser, amongst other aircraft including a helicopter and a biplane. The final demonstration is of a simulated attack by Meteor 4 fighter jets upon an enemy radar post, featuring paratroops.

This film shows the family on several caravanning holidays in the UK; a visit to London to watch the Trooping of the Colour; the inspection of the guard of honour at Guildhall; a boating event at Henley and watching a group of army cadets on parade and at a Physical Training display in a playing field. This film is intertitled throughout.

Fernhurst Coronation Pageant
Produced by a New Zealand couple and donated to the citizens of Fernhurst, this colour film records an historical pageant put on by the village to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. There is a parade of queens from Mary Tudor to Queen Victoria, accompanied by Prime Minister Disraeli. This is followed by a parade of people in culturally stereotyped 'national' costumes (including some who have blacked-up) representing nations of the Commonwealth.

The film contains images of visitors enjoying fairground games, watching a cricket match, and handling army equipment. A plaque is unveiled, and following a Drum Head Service the troops perform a historical re-enactment of the 1759 Battle of Quebec.

This film shows the family on holiday at the Pontin's resort of Barton Hall, Torquay with outdoor views of a beauty pageant, pool area and playing fields in front of the hotel. The children play on a water slide, in a paddling pool, and take part in a fancy dress parade and mock-coronation style entertainment ceremony. The film is inter cut with a family excursion on a guided river boat tour.
