The first part of Mr and Mrs Gowlland film of their holiday with friends, touring around Europe in their car, visiting France, Monaco, Switzerland, and Austria. They pass through Reims, Dijon, Juan Les Pins, Cannes, and Nice in France. After Monte Carlo, they travel to Ascona, the Rhone valley and Luzern in Switzerland and Brand in Austria.

The group go on a road trip visiting Monaco and Spain (Barcelona?) where they take in the sights; swim and water ski; see traditional dancers and watch a bullfight. At the airport, they film two cars being loaded onto a Bristol Freighter plane through its nose doors.
