This film shows work being carried out to build an extension to the Beech Hurst Miniature Railway. Buldozers and diggers are shown being used at the construction site. Scenes of the railway in action are also shown, including adults and children riding on the narrow railway using an assortment of locomotives of both 5 and 3.5 inch gauge. The film then switches between scenes of the construction work, and various scenes of the railway at work.
