The film opens with a banner ‘Welcome to Croydon’. There are street and market scenes with trams and buses passing by. A couple change a flat tyre in a country lane. Scenes of towns in Surrey and Sussex include roadside picnics, motorcycles and sidecars, and views from Box Hill. Views at Birling Gap are followed by the group on the beach at Ryde and Shanklin where they play cricket. Various picnic scenes follow, and the film ends with views of the Brooklands race track.
