Colour film showing numerous locomotives and stations in the last days of steam in the South East of England. The film features trains on the Cuckoo line, on Southern Railway lines in East and West Sussex, and visits the steam lines on the Isle of Wight.
This family film opens with mixed shots of the family home and gardens in Spring and Summer, followed by highlights of the family on holiday in Streatley, Berkshire and visit a Steam Fair in Horsham. Later in the film the family go on a caravan holiday in East Wittering and go sailing on the Norfolk Broads.

This amateur film opens with numerous shots of flowers in a garden. The remainder of the film contains sequences shot at various locations, marked by intertitles, including Parham, Chilham, Dover, central London and Bosham.

This home movie features children of the Pennifold family filmed by their grandmother. The children are seen mostly at play and celebrating birthdays at houses in Partridge Green and Horsham. The film also includes scenes from a family christening at Horsham Parish Church and a village fete at Partridge Green.
The Crawley and Horsham Fox Hounds
Crawley & Horsham hunt meets at Knepp Castle, and "point to point" racing with hunt horses, filmed by Dora Harmer in around 1966.
This is a short amateur film made by a member of the Brighton and Hove Cine Club. The opening of the film shows Hove Town Hall after it was destroyed by fire; the middle section shows scenes from Horsham, including The Causeway and Carfax; with the end fclosing with scenes showing a hunt meeting at the Fox Public House at Patching.
Story of a River
This amateur colour documentary film with poetic voice over, narrative and instrumental soundtrack, follows the River Ouse from Horsham to Barcombe and back via Lewes and Newhaven. The film provides a historical narrative of the local area, with some comedy narrative mixed with poetry readings, anecdotal references and quotes from previous residents, closing with a summary. This film won the Sussex Film Festival Sound Trophy in 1971.
Helicopters at Horsham Park
An amateur film which captures a helicopter display by the The Army Helicopter Display Team at Horsham Park, West Sussex. The helicopters are joined by the Red Devils of the Parachute Regiment, much to the apparent delight of the assembled crowd.

Sea fishing at Bognor Regis; Horsham swimming pool
Two nicely shot films made by an amateur film-maker during the summer of 1972. The first documents several boat trips with local fisherman at Bognor Regis, including footage of lobster pots and mackerel caught on a free line. The second film records a trip to the open-air pool at Horsham Park, which closed around 1979 to be replaced by a newer facility.

[Traction Engine rally]
This short amateur film features shots of steam traction engines and motorised commercial and farm vehicles at an annual event near Horsham, West Sussex. Large crowds of spectators are gathered to watch as the vehicles pass through the field; a funfair can be seen in the distance.
