Lord Rowallan tours the school buildings, visiting outdoor beds, the 'Kinnaird Speech Room' and watches an opening ceremony for a Cub Scout and Guide hut at the Chailey Windmill within the grounds. The film closes with Lord Rowallan talking to a group of young Cubs about a neckerchief woggle.

The film ends with several ministers and clergy greeting the senior Guiding leaders.

The film, which was made by the founder of the Shoreham Cine and Miniature Camera Club, has an accompanying soundtrack comprising commentary, music and sound effects. It also contains newspaper headlines from the Shoreham Herald, and a sequence showing the work of the local paper.
