An amateur film-maker captures scenes from parades, fetes and outings in Kent, East Sussex and beyond. The film opens with shots of a Remembrance Day parade in Tunbridge Wells, children and families enjoy fetes at Paddock Wood and Horsmonden. The film ends with scenes from Fairlight in East Sussex and a flower festival at Southend in Essex (?).
This fast-paced amateur fictional comedy is based around the theme of a photographic competition organised as part of a church fete. An immoral curate and a hapless Guide mistress get themselves entangled with the efforts of a daughter and her father who are competing against each other to produce the winning photograph.
[Fair; Chessington Zoo]
At a Worthing fair, cattle are paraded, followed by a procession of floats and a marching band (possibly for a Rotary Club event ?). The film-maker's family feed and pet a hedgehog in their garden. Shots of various animals in their enclosures at Chessington Zoo follow. The film ends with footage of the film-maker's youngest daughter playing in front of their house with her mother and another young woman in a red dress.

This film opens with scenes of a fete at Balcombe House, followed by a working film of T.T.B. Haulage Ltd from Amersham, Buckinghamshire felling and removing trees in a woodland using a bespoke Foden vehicle, winch and pole-trailer system.

A lengthy amateur film which records events in Shoreham-by-Sea starting in 1962. The film, which was made by the founder of the Shoreham Cine and Miniature Camera Club, has an accompanying soundtrack comprising commentary, music and sound effects. It also contains newspaper headlines from the Shoreham Herald, and a sequence showing the work of the local paper.

This short amateur film features the Thames Ditton Congregational Church Village Fair over the period of two years. There are shots of the parade as it passes through the centre of the village; the carnival queen can be seen with her two attendants. At the fete, people play on side stalls and children ride on the miniature steam railway.

This film shows scenes of a marquee being erected for a trade show or similar by Southern Air Frame Products on the Western Lawns, followed by scenes of various sports events including a Cricket match, three-legged races and several egg and spoon races. The second part of the film shows a group of women dancing in pairs, a Swing band playing for the crowd, a game of Tennis, and children playing a game of Pin the Tail on The Donkey.
