The pageant also includes a brief scene showing Christopher Robin Milne (son of author A.A.Milne) leading a group of children dressed as characters from his father's books: Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Kanga.

The film was shown at St Nicholas Church, New Romney for the launch of the film project, part of the Fifth Continent Romney Marsh Landscape Partnership Scheme run by Kent Wildlife Trust and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

On the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, several one-third size engines are seen being prepared and travelling along the narrow gauge track. With locomotives including 'Hercules', 'Hurricane' and 'Winston Churchill'. On the Bluebell Railway, daytrippers ride behind locomotives including 'Bluebell', 'Birch Grove' and the Adams Radial Tank.

An amateur film which uses archive photographs and film, actuality footage and intertitles to recount the story of the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (RHDR).
This family film opens with snowy scenes of the family home and garden in Chobham, Surrey, followed by scenes of the family on holiday in Cornwall, Dymchurch, Thurleston, Norfolk, West Bay and boarding a P&O ferry the SS Oriana, on route to Australia (?). This film is intertitled throughout and has an animated opening title.

Forming part of the Astor School collection, this amateur film features pupils and teachers from the Astor School, Dover. The pupils are accompanied by teachers on a field trip to Hythe Bay where they are seen exploring flora and fauna in different locations. The children return to a classroom and create displays with what they have found.
