The film shows bunting decorating the street and the Jubilee procession including a marching band and floats. Couples dance in the street to a live band. The film ends with a shot of his daughter Pam in their garden, playing with a cat.
A charming amateur film with intertitles which lovingly chronicles the residents, workers and events which populated the Kent village of Speldhurst in the mid-1930s. The film includes images of the 1935 Silver Jubilee celebrations which took place locally.

A short Dufaycolor film made by the Bognor Regis Film Society, which shows celebrations in the town, to mark the Silver Jubilee of George V in 1935. Large crowds line the street to watch as a parade of floats and walking groups processes through the decorated town. Dufaycolor was an early film system that employed a matrix of red, green and blue to produce colour on film. This matrix pattern is clearly in evidence in the online clips.

Made by amateur film-maker F. J. Williams, this film provides a record of local celebrations for King George V's Silver Jubilee in Brighton, Peacehaven and Rottingdean on May 6, 1935. The film contains footage of street decorations hung in Brighton, crowds celebrating with fancy dress and dance displays in Peacehaven. At Rottingdean a large wooden beacon is built to mark the occasion, a practice that was repeated across the British Empire on this date.
