This film of Woking's Home Guard shows various exercises on a firing range and patrols along the town's streets. Training is carried out with weapons, including grenades and S.I.P bombs, both thrown, and using a Northover Projector. The men practice crossing the Basingstoke Canal on a rope bridge. The film ends with a fete and pageant for local schoolchildren.

[Victory Parade; Children with Cat]
This film shows scenes from a VE day parade moving down a residential street, with men and women in uniform and a Scout troop, parading past the camera. Several vehicles follow with banners and decorations that includes several tanks, a bus, an ARP ambulance, fire engine and “Casualty Car”. The second film shows a family scene with a girl playing with a cat and two girls playing together in a garden.
