[Southern Railway Orphanage: Sports and Christmas]

Two reels (only reel one is online) of amateur film documenting life at the Southern Railway Servants' Orphanage in Woking. The film contains scenes of the older children giving gymnastic displays and a formal dance. The younger children receive toys from Father Christmas and eat Christmas dinners. The children perform a stage play, and boys have a pillow fight.

An amateur filmic record of the Royal Sussex Regiment on duty in Korea. The troops are filmed on exercise in the snowy landscape, and celebrating Christmas in the barracks. The Regiment was sent to Korea in July 1956 as the last British unit in the Commonwealth Contingent under the command of the United States Army.
