A compilation of films of local interest which which were exhibited in a newsreel format at the Capitol Cinema in Walton-on-Thames by its manager Clifford Spain. The films, from 1922, 1931 and 1932, record community events including an RSPCA horse show and several garden fetes. The camera pays much attention to recording the visitors who frequent the events.

Scenes filmed at Reigate Carnival in 1928 and 1935 by members of the North Downs Cinematograph Society. Elaborate floats and fancy dress costumes feature throughout.
Eastbourne on Film
A programme of archive films with introductory titles showing locations and activities in Eastbourne from 1928 to 1966 . Presented by Frank Gray at the Towner Cinema June 2018.
A cine club production of around 1929, part of the "Seeing London Series", which records scenes at Hampstead Heath during a fair. Visitors ride on swingboats, roundabouts and the Helter Skelter, and play carnival games. Views of carnival workers 'behind the scenes' and footage shot from a roundabout as it spins on its axis are also included.

Scenes of the Woolwich Jubilee Carnival filmed by members of the Eltham Cine Society. The Carnival Queen is crowned, a fete is held, a production of Twelfth Night is staged, sporting events are held and a carnival procession with floats is concluded with a thanksgiving service.
