Brighton International Children’s Camp
This film contains images of The International Children's Camp held at Brighton in 1946. The Camp was organized by the British Woodcraft Folk, a member of the Co-operative Youth Movement. The event attracted over 1000 children from the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Czechoslovakia, and other European countries.

This colour film opens with a Sussex County Scouting Rally at Whitsun with Lord Rowallan inspecting the sites with County Commissioner Colonel Hickie, and Field Commander for Sussex 'Uncle Bill' Genese. Views of the event include several parades, presentations, displays and performing arts demonstrations on the field in front of Stanmer House.

Southwick Players Film Unit present... a morality tale for the youth of Southwick and Brighton. Jeff is put off by the thought of the youth club and gets into trouble on his night out. Later, Jeff discovers the club is more fun than he was expecting.
