Aye Aye Captain in a DJ Shop

This colour fantasy animation is about two characters: 'Shi Shi In The Ground' and 'Sunny Ghost Head', that go on an adventure to look for a book. Along the way they meet some interesting people that tell them where to go using a different forms of transportation. The film has subtitles, music and voice over narration throughout.

This animated colour live action music video, was made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities. It illustrates what it feels like to be lost in a big city – everything is very big and scary, and it always rains. It includes shots of The Apollo theatre, Hammersmith. The music is provided by Beat Express, a learning disabled rock group also supported by Carousel for the Debbie Rock Angel Opera.
This colour contemporary dance and movement film, based on the theme of 'Animals of Land and Sea', tells the story of a group of wild animals attending a party together, with spinning star fish, lions and Elephants. A group of penguins decide to join in and make friends with the other animals. The movement came from stories written by the dancers, accompanied by a soundtrack that represented the sounds of animal life in the sea, the jungle and the city.
Hillside Beach Hut Film
This colour animated film was made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities. It shows a group of children from Hillside School, spending some time at their beach hut on Brighton sea front, socialising and dreaming about football, birds and sunbathing. This film has a spoken narrative provided by the children, with full subtitles and accompanying music.
Hillside Ice Cream Film
This animated colour live action film, was made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities. The film features a group of young children from Hillside School sitting together eating ice cream in a café – discussing what the ice cream makes them think about. This film contains spoken narrative from the children and subtitles throughout inter-cut with an animated narrative.
This live-action animation that tells the story of the exclusion of learning disabled athletes from Paralympic Sport, following the controversy surrounding several medal winners in the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games. The film discusses the return of learning disabled categories in competitions for the Paralympic games in London 2012. The film has music and narration from a group of disabled young people with English subtitles.

Their sports coaches, give them an unhealthy diet to eat, so they gain lots of weight and are unable to compete in their individual sporting events.

This spoof chat show style programme discuses pre-Victorian, Victorian and post-Victorian celebrities from Brighton and Hove using live action and animated techniques. The programme is subtitled throughout. Presented by 'Martha Gunn', with guests that include 'Smoaker Miles', 'Maria Fitzherbert', 'Sake Deen Mohomed', 'Nellie Chart', 'Mary Hare', 'Helen Boyle' and 'Harry Cowley' all played by children from Downs Park School, Portslade.
