This edited film shows events and family scenes as captured by Maurice Puttock, showing family life in Lusaka (now Zambia) in the late 1950s. Scenes include several noted visits from HM Elizabeth The Queen Mother and HM The Queen, Elizabeth II among others. It also shows birthdays and work trips to see the building of the Kariba Dam.
Eye Doctors on Safari
This colour documentary film produced by the Kenya Branch of the BESB, shows a day's work by Dr Moses Chirambo visiting several rural eye centres with Dr. Calcott during one of their surveys of eye care in Malawi, Africa. The film contains scenes of children and adults receiving treatment from eye specialists, as well as scenes of surgical procedures to remove cataracts from a patients eyes at mobile vehicles and clinics.
Looking on Darkness
This colour documentary film explores the lives of blind children in Malawi and how new schemes help to provide open primary education for both blind and sighted children in the same classroom. The film also explores village life from the perspectives of blind and sighted children and follows a group of teachers as they undergo training to learn the techniques needed to teach in the open school environment. The film has opening and closing titles, music and credits.

This colour documentary film opens with titles in several languages that reads 'Focus on Sight' and highlights the impact of blindness on everyday lives. The four main major causes of blindness in Malawi are explored starting with Trachoma, Xerophthalmia, cataract and river blindness, along with the main causes of the diseases. Scenes of children and adults being examined are seen along with the symptoms of various diseases and extensive malnutrition.

It shows a mobile eye clinic; doctors using an aircraft to dispense care with 'Sight by Wings'; blind children in a rehabilitative school in Kenya; and blind workers in factories and on farms.
