The flames of torches held by a large crowd are seen against a black background, in which the people holding them are only occasionally discernible. This then cuts to a rural landscape covered in thick snow (shots shown with a magenta cast), and images of Alexis, Woodward's daughter, playing outside their home on a bicycle.
