Captain Cyril R. Peckitt created this visual record of life in Karachi whilst he was stationed there with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment in the early 1930s. The film includes images of the journeys to and from Pakistan, of Regimental activities, and of the Karachi itself. It provides a fascinating record of Regimental life in Asia during the latter stage of the Empire.

In 1932 patriarch Moses Nightingale takes his family to view the biplanes at Croydon Aerodrome. Many of them gather again eleven years later for the wedding of his granddaughter Margaret Payne to Captain Jim Walker of the Royal Norfolk Regiment at All Saints' Church, Sanderstead.

Scenes at the Hendon Royal Air Force Display June 1934 show various aircraft in flight, filmed from the crowd. At a separate event and location a marching band followed by marching army cadets (?) are seen parading on a sports field. The spectators are seated for tea outdoors. A boy in military uniform is seen with his father and mother (?).
