This colour film features views of the 1st Haywards Heath Rover Scout campsite with additional shots of the rural landscape and chalk cliffs around the camp. Scenes show the scouts working together to build a camp; scenes of a badge award ceremony, a formal dinner and portrait shots of several Boy Scouts. The film ends with a group of men building a new Rover Scout Hut.

This film shows shots of a rural camp location with a group of adults standing next to a river, a man fishes and shows his catch, as a young girl watches. The film cuts to a shot of two men in suits standing under a sign: 'Campsite Haywards Heath Rovers', followed by mixed shots of the camp with portrait shots of scouts clearing ferns and bracken and collecting fire wood. Portrait shots follow of several Rover Scouts smoking pipes, another climbing down from a tree, Scouts peeling potatoes in a bucket, and a group of men and women sitting together.

The next part shows Scouting activities in a woodland to build a campsite - felling trees and pitching tents with shots of a group of Boy Scouts riding bicycles with trailers into the camp.

This is followed by a badge award ceremony in a woodland camp; several Scouts eating a packed lunch and portrait shots of younger boys walking towards a camera with a brief shot of a playground.

The final scene shows a series of portrait shots of several senior Scout leaders and men in a Scout hut sat around a table for a formal dinner (dark shots), followed by scenes of a group of men surrounded by piles of bricks building a wall, wire brushing sheets of corrugated iron and painting them Scout green, possibly for their new Scout hut (?).
