This short black and white film shows the Corder family on holiday in Eastbourne. The family are seen at the seafront, having a picnic on the beach and getting ready to go for a drive in a car.

The Corder family are seen standing on the beach talking to each other in front of a row of changing huts. Under a prolonged gaze of the camera, a young woman smiles, then looks away. The family sit on deck chairs marked C.B.O.E (County Borough of Eastbourne?) on the pebble beach.

In the next section, two children are seen sitting in the back of a car (BHU 605) outside a house. The children are encouraged to smile at the camera and repeatedly say 'cheese'. Mrs Corder is seen sitting in the front of the car putting a pair of sunglasses on. She then takes them off and looks embarrassed.

In the final section the family are seen sitting on the beach eating a picnic. (The exposure and contrast of the film is very low).
