This mix of colour and black and white film featuring children (Julia and Chris Corder) playing in a park, in the river Cuckmere (?) and the family playing in a garden. Mrs Corder tries not to be filmed. The second part is of the children (now much older) playing in a park, followed by shots of young children playing in different gardens.
This compilation of colour and black and white sequences shows the children (Julia and Chris Corder) playing in a park and in the river Cuckmere (?), and (in colour film) the family playing together in a garden. The young girl plays with a toy shot gun while her younger brother crawls on the path. Mrs Corder appears to object to be filmed.
Returning to black and white film, the second section is of the children (now much older) playing in an urban park (possibly continued from TID: 9790?). This is followed by an edited mix of colour and black and white scenes of the young children playing in different gardens and smelling plants and flowers. This is followed by a collection of street views with the children playing in the street and the front garden of a house.
The next section features a baby asleep in a pram and the Corder family sitting in the countryside (Cuckmere Haven?). The women are knitting. A weasel (?) climbs out from under a hedge, the camera follows it into some woodland.
In the next short sequence, the camera follows a tabby cat sat on a fence in a garden. The final section shows the Corder family playing together in a garden. A man is shown teaching a young toddler how to ride a bike and both play with a ball in the garden. Other children run around and play together. The shot cuts to the interior of the front room of a house (very dark shot) where the family are sitting together on a sofa.
