This tinted colour and black and white film shows everyday life for the Corder family, opening with the children playing in the garden, on a day out to a park and on a family picnic in the countryside.

Julia Corder as a toddler is shown standing inside a cot in the garden, and then leaning over to play with a toy dog (?) on wheels, whilst a tabby cat watches. In the next shot Mrs Corder and a young girl play with the toddler while she crawls, and help her to walk. Mr Corder joins in with the crawling game whilst Mrs Corder films. Mrs Corder and the girl also hold the baby up to record close ups of themselves with the baby.

In the next sequence the Corder family are on a picnic in the countryside, next to a car (UR 8723) on a gravel road. In the next (green) colour tinted sequence, a young girl and Mrs Corder walk Julia around closely followed by a boy and an older woman (Grandmother?). The family then sit down next to their car to have a picnic.

Now in black and white, the Corder family sit at a table eating cake and drinking tea and coffee (?). The table is laid for afternoon tea and the toddler is sat in a high chair next to the table. In the next scene, the child is being bathed in an enamel bath tub (very dark), splashing about in the water. Mrs corder then dries the child in a towel.

In the next sequence the Corder and Sorrell families visit a park with the children. The toddler Julia is placed in a pram and cries whilst the harness is being tied up. The final sequence shows a pond with ducklings feeding next to the adult birds and swimming on the pond. The family stroll past whilst Mrs Corder takes Julia to the edge for a closer look.
