This colour family film shows the gardens and grounds at the family home, Hill Barn in Sanderstead and of Gilbert Tomes' parents sitting together in the garden. Barbara and Richard walk in the garden with their grandparents and Sprinter the poodle. The gardens and trees are in full bloom, as the family tour the garden. The film has music throughout and recorded voices which are out of sync.
The film shows the gardens and grounds at the family home, talking in the garden. Members of the family are filmed talking, with occasional clapper board interruptions. Barbara and Richard walk in the garden with their grandparents and Sprinter the poodle. The family play around the fish pond and tour the greenhouses, where Grandpa talks to the children about the flowers which are in full bloom.
A brief visit is also made to the family's bee hives in the garden, Richard takes the top off one hive to take a look inside. The recorded voices are out of sync, but has music throughout.
