A black and white film of Gilbert and Mary Tomes' wedding reception at Welton Hall, (Camberwell, London or Keswick ?) on 9th September 1939. This is followed by a much later colour film of their two of the family homes - West Wickham and Bromley, Kent, showing the gardens and two children, Barbara and Richard, playing together.

The wedding film shows the couple arriving at a church, followed by scenes of the reception in the hall including an ornate tiered wedding cake and the guests. (Shots are shaky and out of focus). Intertitles throughout.

In the second colour film, garden scenes show a mown lawn and large greenhouse. In the garden, the children (Barbara and Richard) play on a tricycle. At a second house, the children sit around a brick pond and pick garden flowers.
