A film covering scenes across the seasons on a Kentish farm in Meopham. The films shows children roller skating, women and girls working the farm tractor, Hereford cattle, ferrets, rabbit shooting and the Eastbourne Show.

Young boys are seen attempting roller-skating along a garden path. Two women drive a tractor through the farm. Women and children use the tractor and trailer to collect hay bales in the fields. Hereford cattle graze in the fields along with sheep. With snow on the ground, the sheep are shown with their new born lambs. A boy looks at new born lambs sheltering amongst hay bales. With deep snow on the ground, a group of men with two boys and dogs return from shooting rabbits. They put the dead rabbits in the boot of a car. Returning to spring, arable fields are shown along with cows in a shed. The cows are loaded onto a truck and then are released into a field. Hay bales are collected again using the tractor and trailer. A boy is seen playing with albino ferrets in the garden and a girl with a pet dog. Harvesting scenes take place in the fields with various farm machinery in use. Bulls are loaded onto a truck and taken to a local farm show. Brief scenes of a boy diving in a swimming pool are followed by scenes of the bulls at the Eastbourne show, where they are paraded and examined by the judges. One of the family's bulls wins Second Prize.
