This extended intertitled film shows: outings to several public gardens and woodlands; several group portraits of families with babies; a Primary School outing; a trip to the rural valley of Dovedale and Ilam; a visit to Chatsworth House; Sunday School outings to Littlehampton and Bexhill-on-Sea; a compilation of wedding groups outside churches; and a set of Senior group outings to Littlehampton, Amberley, and Arundel. The final sequence includes a firework and Bonfire party in Crawley.
This compilation of edited and intertitled colour film shows various family occasions that includes: spring scenes of flowers in the Queen Victoria Gardens in Brighton; the carpet gardens at Eastbourne; spring lambs in a field; portraits of several family groups with young babies outside Three Bridges Free Church; a Primary School outing to a playground; a trip to the National Trust property of Ilam Park and Dovedale; a visit to Chatsworth House; a group of rural farmers treating their flock of sheep (Sheep Dipping) at Bratton [?]; TBFC Sunday School outings to Littlehampton and Bexhill-on-sea to swim and play games on the beach. The Moore family are seen on a trip to Whipsnade Zoo, with close-up shots of the animal enclosures and baby animals, followed by a visit to RHS Garden Wisley, with close up shots of the plant and flower displays.
The next part shows views of four wedding groups standing outside churches that includes Crawley Baptist Church, Landsdown Baptist Church, and a church near Balcombe (?).
Intertitle: 'Harvest Time' shows rural woodlands in Autumn, a combine harvester working a field of grain, and wide views of a stack of Hayricks.
Intertitle: "Senior Outing - 8 Sept. 1962" shows a coach trip for a group of older adults travelling along a new dual carriageway in West Sussex, passing through the village of Mannings Heath with a single General store, then through Horsham, past several Tudor style timber framed houses on route to Littlehampton.
Intertitle: "Littlehampton". The senior group arrive at Littlehampton. They take a boat trip and stand for portraits on the promenade, followed by a visit to Arundel Castle.
Intertitle: "Amberley". The group arrive at Amberley and take afternoon tea next to the river Arun, followed by a motorboat trip on the river. The group visit the village of West Chiltington before returning home via Horsham to Three Bridges.
The film closes with a shot of a rainbow and a fireworks and bonfire celebration and a series of snowy and spring landscape scenes of the exterior shots of local churches, Montefiore Hall, St Nicholas, Worth Church and Three Bridges Free Church.
