This colour family film opens with winter shots of the family home in Chobham, a family wedding followed by the family on holiday in Cornwall, Devon, Norfolk and Sussex. A brief shot shows Mr Giles in St Peter's Hospital in Surrey.

This colour film opens with wintery garden shots of 'Sunnymede', the family home in Chobham, Surrey. The house and garden are covered in snow. This is followed by a wedding at a Church in Epping, Essex with the bride, groom and wedding party on the steps outside the church. The next section shows the family on holiday in several regions across Cornwall. A village sign for 'Coverack', opens the next section, where the family tour the harbour, coast and landscape. A shot of the front of 'The Pandora Inn' (possibly in Mylor?) with the family sitting on benches out front. The final stop is at the National Trust (NT) site on the 'Bedruthan Steps', accompanied by a close up of the NT sign and coastal shots of the landscape. A brief shot of the vessel 'World Mobility' and others are docked at Falmouth, Devon.

The film then moves to garden scenes of the family's Chobham home, where the family are mowing the lawn. Several shots of the garden and grounds are shown with flowers in full bloom. The family are next seen on holiday in Norfolk where an older group of adults are playing croquet on a lawn and the family enjoying time in their caravan and on a beach at a site in East Wittering (West Sussex).

The next section shows Mr Giles in St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey. He has been admitted to one of the wards and is filming patients and staff. He is asked by medical staff to stop filming.

The final holiday sequence shows coastal and rural views of Thurlstone, Devon. A row of thatched terraced cottages face the street, with the family car parked in front.
