This black and white film features two sections, the first is footage of the Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regiment on a military camp (possibly in Wiltshire, or Dorset?) and the second is the Lockwood family group at a day out on the beach (Felpham?)

The first section shows footage of the Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regiment on a military camp (?) with landscape shots of the surroundings fields, including a castle or building in ruins (possibly Corfe Castle in Dorset?). A military vehicle is seen leaving the camp with officers inside whilst two ranked officers stand talking in a field. In the next section several ranked officers are seen standing in a group whilst one holds a bag which he shows the camera. Another officer without his jacket laughs whilst doing his shirt and tie up (?) The officers then return to camp.

In the second film, the Lockwood family group go on a day out on the beach possibly at Felpham (?). The family have a picnic and the children swim in the sea.
