This short film shows officers from the Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regiment on a camp (?) playing a game of car sledding and undertaking a gun and armoured car demonstration.


The films open with officers from the Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regimentthe Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regiment on a camp (?) playing a game of car sledding, whilst sat in a tin bath being pulled around camp. The man sat in the bath is dressed in civilian clothing and a conical style farm workers hat.

In the next section four gunners kneel around a mortar weapon in a field, whilst holding mortar shells. The shells and gun are also shown in individual shots in close up on the grass field.

The final section shows an armoured car demonstration (possibly a Lanchester 6x4?) (registration: MT9673) to a group of officers assembled around a vehicle.
