Description

This film opens with shots of a group of men arriving at the Felpham house and playing a game of bowls in the garden (possibly Mr Lockwood's Armed Forces friends?). Ladies watch from the sun lounger eating ice cream, whilst the men play a game and smoke. A man makes an animated speech to the group, followed by two men presenting a large bouquet of flowers to a woman from the Lockwood household (?). The group then sit down to drink tea and eat cake. (Possibly for a family member's birthday or anniversary celebration?)

In the next short film several ladies are seen in the garden admiring the flowers and socialising.

The last film shows the guests leaving the house and the family going back inside. In the last shot a union flag on a red background (red ensign or UK civil ensign) is seen on top of the flagpole in the garden.
