This compilation opens with the Queen's Royal (West) Surrey Regiment at a training camp. Several men are seen bathing in tin baths outside their tents wearing conical Chinese style hats.

The final film is of the Regiment marching band on parade in Swanage, playing for the public on the pier dressed in full dress uniform.
