Summary
This edited colour film features images of gardens and trees at Coombe Wood Parkland and Pleasure Ground near Croydon.
Description
This edited colour film opens with a 'County Borough of Croydon Parks' sign for 'Coombe Wood Parkland & Pleasure Ground' and images of the gardens and trees in full bloom (Spring/Summer). A mixture of bedding flowers are seen, along with sweeping lawns, walled gardens and Rhododendrons. A group of visitors stand by a pond whilst Coombe Wood house can be seen through the tall trees at the top of a hill.
The next portion of the film depicts a series of panoramic shots taken from a first floor window (possibly a location change or from Coombe Wood House?) The film then returns to views of Coombe Wood and grounds later in the season (autumn ?) with the leaves changing colour.
