This colour film, shows a series of events attended by a family group - a wedding at a church, a horse riding holiday and time pent on a beach playing games.
This colour film opens with the family attending a Church wedding. Two ladies and a child are seen leaving a house (Croydon?) and getting into a car dressed in formal clothing. The family then gathers in the church garden, admiring the flowers and socialising.
In the next section, the children run about dressed in horse riding attire whilst two ladies watch from deck chairs. Family members are seen sat mounted on horses. A lady guides the little girl's horse close to hers as they set off. The group then rides through a hilly rural setting, passing houses as they make their way down a country lane (?). A panorama from the top of a hill with the riders below shows off the rural and semi-urban landscape.
In the next sequence, a series of panorama shots follow from on top of a hill looking down towards the sea. A row of beach huts cast tall shadows onto the sand, whilst bathers and a row of cars can be seen on the shore. The location then changes to show a stone bridge over a shallow river, with people standing on the top. The river flows through a rural wooded landscape (?), whilst an older lady and gentleman lean over the edge to foliage from the side of the bridge. The landscape then changes to a coastal rocky cliff view, with heron gulls and winding paths.
The final part of this film shows the family on a beach at the seaside. The children play with a beach ball dressed in full swimwear, while a man dressed in long shorts plays with a Frisbee. The sand dunes and beach can be seen behind him. The children bathe in a large rock pool with an inflatable ring, whilst the family sunbathe, drink and build a sandcastle.
The film ends with a series of street views of a small village, with traditional stone built houses on a winding lane followed by the children playing on large metal slides at a playground.
