The construction, equipping and operation of the Kent Educational Centre, Dover in 1968. The film features brief shots of its construction, equipment being set up and scenes of young men using the equipment to film a mock news broadcast (?).

The film opens with a blurred shot of a man operating recording equipment (?); a man pretending to chip away at a brick wall and another man mixes concrete. A sign reads: "Kent County Council, Kent Educational Committee, Barton School, County Primary for Juniors, Headteacher Mr R.G.H. Evans" and there are shots of the exterior of the school. Brief shots of children in a corridor; a man handles scaffolding and plans for equipment are laid out. Two men carry a box reading: "Amplex Video Recorder". Young men look on as a man demonstrates how the video recorder works. [Break in film] Close-up shots of recording equipment. [Break in film] A man walks from the street outside into the studio, a sign reads: "Dover Educational Television Centre", before sitting at a desk to read some paperwork. Shots of cabling, flickering monitors and video reels. Young men operate the equipment whilst the older man cleans the recorder. A young man operates a camera, initials on side read: "D.E.T.C.". Boys are sitting at a desk facing the camera, possibly a mock up of a news room (?). Sequence of Dover Educational Television Centre logo, relief plan of Dover, photo of Dover Castle and aerial photo of Dover harbour reading: "Dover Gateway of England". The film ends with dark shots of recording equipment (?).
