This film contains footage of Shoreham Air Show in the late 1930s, with various aircraft and parachute teams flying over the airfield performing routines for the air display. Continued from TID: 8957.
[Not included in online clip] Several aircraft pass through the air in display, barrel rolling and free falling at speed. A parachutist jumps from an aircraft before releasing his secondary chute. Dark shots follow of several aircraft in display [shaky]. [Included in online clip] A display team of nine bi-palne aircraft in formation [43 Flight squadron in Hawker Fury MK1's], followed by a group of single prop fixed wing aircraft (?). The film closes with a brief view of the airfield (?) with smoke rising above a house or building adjacent to the airfield.
