Two mischievous boys disrupt a postman and a nursemaid in a garden in this comedy by Charles Goodwin Norton.

Two chairs have been placed in a garden. A postman arrives and sits down, greeting a nursemaid, who joins him on the other chair. He takes his hat off while she retrieves a bottle and a cup. He eats from a plate on his lap. Two young garden staff are seen behind, watering the garden. The nursemaid returns and pours him a drink. He drinks three glasses in quick succession. The mischievous boys push the policeman over and spray the couple with the hose. The postman throws a bucket of water in retaliation but the boys run off.
