Amateur film of harvesting scenes and family life on a farm. The film shows: horse and carts being used to harvest the crops alongside early mechanised harvesters; horses and a donkey on the farm; and children playing in a garden.

This colour film opens with several horses pulling a hay cart through a field and two men harvesting grain with a tractor and mechanised early combine machine (film is damaged and hard to make out action).

In the next compilation of brief shots a man leads a horse through a yard, a woman leads a donkey to a group of children, mixed views of a family group playing in a garden with two rubber beach balls and mixed views of a mare and filly playing together in a field, as the mare is led around on a long rein.

The final shot is of an older woman in a paddock handing a kitten to a young girl to hold, but she is more interested in picking the grasses than playing with the kitten.
