This short film shows scenes of construction work at Heathrow Airport, with aircraft landing, spectators, passengers and views of the runway. The second film shows a young woman posing for the camera on the beach in Hove.
The camera pans across the construction site at Heathrow airport revealing the runway in use with discarded 'Pan American World Airways' passenger ladders scattered on the edge of the airfield. A small propellor 'Air France' 'F-BAXM' aircraft is being boarded before taking off. Several larger aircraft also leave the airfield followed by scenes showing empty passenger transport vehicles in the foreground. Avro 685 York 'G-AGSN' and Lockheed 'NC88833' Pan American World Airways flight stand on the airfield. Spectators stand watching the aircraft taking off.
The next scene shows a young woman standing on a set of rail tracks on a concrete pier jutting out from Hove beach, posing for the camera. Several buildings including Medina House can be seen to her rear.
