Summary

A drama about a game of cards which ends in violence.

Description

What appears to be a game of poker is being played. Four men sit around a table in a darkened room, playing cards and laying bets whilst smoking and drinking. One man is seen cheating but the cheat is discovered. He is stabbed and a fight breaks out. A man is seen fleeing by a police man who, on entering the darkened room, finds two bodies on the floor. A closer look at the playing cards reveals they were playing the card game “Happy Families”. A playing card reads “the end”. The card is turned over to reveal the joker.
