Summary

This short film, by R G H Burbridge, shows Mr & Mrs John Boyles, working a their tomato farm in Ferring, West Sussex. The film, with accompanying commentary shows work inside their glasshouses where they grow thousands of tomato plants. The plants are watered via nozzles while hot air keeps them warm. The Boyles use stilts to tend the tall plants and start picking the still green tomatoes, which are then boxed ready for market.
