A short film of family holiday scenes taken at Polzeath, Cornwall and whilst out walking on the beach at Seaford, Sussex in the early 1970s, filmed by Richard D. Brickell and his wife.
The family play on a sandy Polzeath beach while on holiday on the North Coast of Cornwall, Coastal panoramas show the rocky coastline, followed by shots of their holiday apartment at "Polzeath Court".
The second part shows domestic scenes of the family playing in the garden at home, followed by the girls walking and playing on the shingle beach at Seaford, with their parents on a windy day. The Newhaven jetty, the white cliffs at Seaford Head and the Seven Sisters feature behind them, as the camera follows them on the beach.
The film then returns to domestic scenes at the family home, with one of the girls and Mr Brickell shelling broad beans on a bench in the garden, with a kitten and a Jack Russell dog. The film closes with a shot of several plants, apple trees and outbuildings in the garden.
