A colour amateur film which records a quiet boat trip along the River Medway, filming locks, bridges and riverside buildings.

Sonny Hanson's colour film begins with a party of mainly elderly men and women joining a boat for a trip along Kent's River Medway. Departing from Maidstone, there are views of the Archbishop's Palace and the town's main bridge, along with riverside views of both residential and industrial buildings. At East Farleigh lock, the party disembark before heading towards Teston Bridge and another lock. The trip then takes the return journey home to Maidstone.
