Various scenes of family and friends filmed at home and in a park; in Gravesend, Kent and later in Brockley in 1958. The scenes are filmed by Joan Irons, sometimes filming herself whilst the camera keeps a fixed position on a tripod.
Scenes filmed at a Rockery and duck pond in Gravesend open the film. A woman in a red coat stands beneath a tree. She sits on the grass of the park to read a book. A friend, in a yellow cardigan, stands in the garden of her terraced house and is joined by the film-maker in footage shot from a tripod. A woman films herself relaxed and smiling whilst sunbathing in the garden, settling in the deck chair before running back to the camera .
[Not included online] A woman drives away in a black car, reversing into a driveway to turn around [some shots are damaged].
