A short film, produced by amateur film-maker B. C. Suter in the mid 1980s, opening with views of East Brighton Beach, where visitors lie on the shingle. A boy rides in a toy fire engine and a young woman featuring in a seaside game sits behind glass, wearing a white t-shirt, soaking wet. Views of the entrance to Palace Pier show the clock, pier and seagulls circling above. The film closes with a shot of a metal sculpture on the pier.
