Footage taken by Gladys Bishop of her daughter and granddaughter, husband and grandson, at home at Mulgrave Road in Sutton, Surrey, and on the beach at Selsey, in around 1951.
A young boy helps his grandfather work on the family car. Both peer underneath, their knees to the ground. A baby smiles from her pram. At Selsey beach, her grandfather holds her just above the water. Her brother, the boy at the start of the film, and mother approach the child and splash water on her toes. The young girl sits on the lawn with her mother, shaking a small bucket and playing with a rattle, looking up at the camera smiling.
