Tobogganing on the South Downs, and an imaginative toy car animation, filmed by Neville Gillings with his father's camera in the 1980s.

Three boys walk up a hill, blanketed with deep snow. They toboggan down the slope together, sharing a sledge. Panning footage of the snow-covered landscape follows. Snow blows off the fields as they trudge through the drifts. Much of the footage is unsteady, taken by Neville Gillings.

An animation, produced with toy cars, laid out on the floor of the family house in Patcham, follows. The cars and trucks move across the carpet along roads marked out with Lego bricks. Cotton wool erupts from one of the cars, as if on fire by the side of the road. Several cars crash during a race.
