This film shows a series of scenes of the Shippam family during a visit to a chapel, followed by views of a working harbour, filmed by Ernest Shippam in the 1930s.

The compilation opens with two nuns standing with the family group outside a chapel (one of them is Shippam family member Sister Joachim, with another?). A large church is visible behind the group as they stand looking at a garden. A nun plays a ball game with the children, followed by a series of portraits of one of the nuns.

The film closes with a brief scene showing a harbour, where a crane lifts a motorcar onto a ship.
